What is Valley Vision Stanislaus?
Reflect the shared vision of all of the Cities and the County Use Fiscal Constraint – we can only include projects we can
pay for; we cannot include revenue from a potential transportation sales tax.
Preserve and emphasize efficient use of our existing transportation system. Provide a prioritized list of projects Achieve region’s established air quality goals

What must the Plan do?
- Coordinates land use plans, regional housing plans for
residents of all incomes, and transportation investment plans to attempt to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
- Secondary benefits include: reducing congestion,
improving air quality, and providing more housing and transportation choices
- Does NOT supersede local land use decisions
- Required by State Law
