  2. What role does EAP have?  EAP Rep provides training  EAP Rep functions as a consultant and resource  EAP Rep is available as a referral source for co-workers identified as having alcohol and/or drug issues

  3. Coordinator Qualifications  Willing to devote time and effort to the development of the program  Endorsed by both the company and union  Good communicators  Natural leaders  Motivated to help others  Not an active drug/alcohol abuser

  4. P2P Responsibilities Promote drug & alcohol-free workplace Motivate employees to seek help Distribute promotional material Promote themselves as an additional resource for information & guidance

  5. P2P Responsibilities Track number of employees reached Present at safety and union meetings Help establish P2P committees at division Participate in DARS training
