➢ Health Education will be provided to students as a
push-in during the 6th Grade FLEX period. Topics may include:
➢ Self Image ➢ Self Confidence ➢ Positive Health Goals ➢ Decision Making ➢ Bullying/Cyber Bullying ➢ Safety
➢ Each student will attend a 10 week course (one per
quarter) of the following subjects:
➢ Art ➢ Music ➢ Technology ➢ Family and Consumer Science
➢ World Language
➢ Spanish ➢ French ➢ Latin ➢ Chinese
➢ Music (Performing Groups)
➢ Band ➢ Orchestra ➢ Chorus
➢ English Center ➢ Math Center ➢ Special Education Services ➢ ENL
➢ Extra-Help – once per week, per subject w/ subject teacher
➢ Math Center – open every day during lunch & after school until 4pm ➢ English Center – open every day during lunch ➢ Homework Center – open every day after school until 4pm ➢ Library – open every day after school until 4pm ➢ Peer Tutoring – sign up in October to be paired with a high school
tutor
*Students will attend a Club Fair at the beginning of the school year to select activities that they would like to join.
