Community Outreach My name is Nick Baltzell and I am a World Geography teacher at Fort Collins High School. This year, our World Geography and World Literature classes are teaming up on a project that invites students to learn more about cultures in the Fort Collins Community. Students would be asked to interview members of our community and learn more about cultures that are different than theirs. With these interviews will be a portrait component that has them incorporate a portrait of their interviewee. We were wondering if the FCDCC would have any interest in coming to our classrooms this fall to help students learn the technique of taking digital photography portraits? Whatever you could provide in terms of instruction, modeling, materials, or equipment would be greatly appreciated. Please let us know if you're interested or if you have any other questions. Club July Outings Club Picnic: July 10th, 5:30 to 8:30 pm at City Park Shelter #7 Club Outing : CSU Mountain Campus and Pingree Park Valley We have two dates reserved for the FCDCC to visit the CSU Mountain Campus and the surrounding area: Wednesday, July 18th and Saturday, July 28th. If you would like to sign up, please contact Deborah Cowan at cowandesign27@gmail.com and indicate which day you would like to go.
