  4. 1/10/2020 Incentives Performance Portfolio The Agency will generate and manage a tier -incentive performance portfolio that will be active for up to 18 months. For every month, if the participant successfully maintains full-time, uninterrupted employment, a one-time financial incentive will be added to his/her performance portfolio: Month Incentive T otal Months 1-4 $250/month $1,000 Months 5-6 $150/month $300 Months 7-18 $100/month $1,200 T otal 18-month Incentive: $2,500 The $2,500 will be paid out at the completion of the 18 months. In addition to this portfolio, periodic payouts will help cover the gap generated as the income rises and assistance falls to ensure the recipient is financially stable. In their efforts to improve their economic competitiveness, employers must find ways to consistently upgrade the skills of their workforce through educational and training opportunities. • This is an employer-driven program that is targeted to provide direct financial assistance to our local employers to train their current workers and improve the economic competitiveness of the Greater Lima Region employers. Eligible trainees need to be employed for at least 6 months. IWT covers a percenta ge of total training costs based on employer size and availability of funding. • The ultimate goal of this program is twofold: 1) allow employers to retain and grow their existing workforce and 2) create a regional workforce that can meet the present and future demands in an ever- changing economy. • Incumbent Worker Training funding can be paired with Ohio's new TechCred program to help cover training costs not fully covered through TechCred. Incumbent Worker Training ➢ 58 trainings funded in 2019 totaling over $205,000! ➢ 14 active trainingprojects totaling $66,000+ 7

Provides youth w ith the opportunity to build soft skills, get in a da ily routine, and explore career fields. • On-the-Job T raining (OJT) • Employer hires and trains youth in pe rmanent position. OMJ reimburses the employer 50% of youth wages for a de fined duration of training.
