Course Selection Process

  • We continue to use the Career Cruising data base for students from
  • ur feeder schools (Emily Carr, Henry Larsen, Heritage, Terry Fox,

Trillium) to choose their courses for Grade 9.

  • Currently, teachers and Learning Support Teachers (LSTs) at the

elementary schools are advising students (and their families) about choosing the appropriate courses for grade 9. Their recommendations will be visible in Career Cruising only to the individual student/family.

  • We visit feeder schools next week to meet with students and provide

a course selection and instruction package to help navigate the on- line, Career Cruising process.

  • If you are not from one of the schools listed, but CW is your home

school, a paper application is available for you this evening, if you did not receive one from your Grade 8 teacher.
