  16. Welcome to High School! • What’s the difference? – a transition to more independent learning, organization, and personal responsibility for completion of work – up to 8 different teachers per year – Credit system for moving through 4 - 5 years towards graduation 22

Welcome to High School! • What do I need to graduate? – Earn a total of 30 credits -- a combination of elective and compulsory course choices – Pass the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (Grade 10) or the Ontario Literacy Course – Complete a minimum 40 hours of Community Service (see Guidelines for Community Involvement here) 23
