OUR JOURNEY WITH DOMO

  • Pre-Domo: Business analysts lived in excel and manual data

extracts

  • The search for a more efficient solution led us to Domo
  • Just passed our third anniversary on the platform with ~1100 users
  • Originally scoped 16 use cases and 20 different data sources
  • Now:
  • 60+ data sources connected
  • Thousands of datasets
  • Billions of rows of data
  • Domo is used throughout the enterprise

BASICS TO GET DOMO UP AND RUNNING

11

Minimum

  • Individual that is curious about data – if you can use Excel and PowerPoint, you

can use and administer Domo

  • Access to data you want to bring into Domo
  • Windows Server for Workbench: If you are uploading Domo from data stored on

premise (non-cloud), then you will likely want a Windows Server

  • We run a 4 core, 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD virtual server for 1500 jobs/day without

issue

Recommended

  • Single-sign on for user credentialing will save you a lot of time down the road
  • Whitelist Domo Email addresses and mail server IPs in your company’s SPAM

filter

If behind a firewall, Domo IPs need to be whitelisted
