All necessary forms will be available on the Marshall homepage. Cost for camp is $125.00. Payment can be made via check or through your child’s PaySchool’s Account. The district is not accepting cash. Scholarships are available by contacting Dr. Thornton.

Camp Meals

Camp provides:

  • lunch, dinner and a snack on day 1
  • breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack on day 2
  • breakfast on day 3

**breakfast includes a yogurt/cereal bar **lunch and dinner includes a salad bar **Families of students with medical or religious dietary needs will be contacted with further information.

Packing Reminders

*Refer to the packing list on the website. *LABEL everything you send with your child. *Do NOT use a garbage bag as luggage. *Make sure your child is able to carry his/her luggage. *Make sure your child can repack their luggage. *WATCH the weather!! ** We will continue with activities if it is raining as long as it is safe for students.

* Pets * Money (There is NO place to spend it!)

Camp Medication Policy

❖ ALL over-the-counter medications (ie: benedryl, motrin. . .) must be in their original containers. Tylenol is the only

  • exception. If you stated on the emergency medical form that

the nurse could give your child Tylenol at school, then they can receive Tylenol at camp. Please ensure you have updated this on Tyler prior to Wednesday, September 26. ❖ ALL prescription medications must be in their original pharmacy containers with the prescription label on the bottle. ❖ ALL medications (prescription and over-the-counter) require a Request for Medication Administration in School-Camp KOK form. This form must be completed by your child’s physician and be signed by you.

Camp Medication Reminders

Send ONLY necessary medications and only enough doses for the days we are at camp. Children are not permitted to be in possession of their

  • medications. Parents must drop off and pick up all

medications. Medications that are kept in the nurse’s office at MES

CANNOT be taken to camp with the exception of an

Epi-pen and/or an inhaler. Inhalers and Epi-pens will be kept at the nurse’s station unless the permission to carry form is turned into the nurse before we leave for camp. This form can be found on the website.

Camp Medication Reminders

Pack all medication bottles and permission forms in a Ziplock baggie labeled with your child’s name and homeroom. Medications need to be given to the nurse no later than Wednesday, September 26 (The sooner, the better.) Feel free to call a school nurse with any questions. Don’t forget to pick up your medication on Friday, October 12 when you pick up your child. Medication will not be released to your child.

Do’s

  • Do label EVERYTHING!
  • Do notify your child’s homeroom teacher of any sleep

issues your child might have. (ie: sleep walking,

  • bedwetting. . .)
  • Do practice setting and clearing a table with your

child as they will need this skill while at camp.

  • Do practice packing/rolling their sleeping gear.
  • Do complete the pick-up notification form and send

back to school no later than:

  • Wednesday, September 26.

p.m. on Friday, October 12.

  • Do pick up your child’s medication when you pick up

your child on Friday, October 12. Children are NOT permitted to pick up their medication.

  • Don’t tie luggage pieces together or sleeping

gear to luggage.

  • Don’t send electronic equipment.
  • Don’t send money with your child.
