Prior to joining Leadership Fairfax, Karen was the principle of Cleveland Group, LLC and Cleveland Coaching Group, Reston, VA based companies specializing in helping leaders, teams and organizations identify and develop their full leadership potential. Previously, Karen served as President & CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Northern VA where she was known as a visionary leader and was credited with growing the organization into one of the most respected charitable organizations in the Metro DC area.

ABOUT US: US:  Mission: To inspire, connect, develop and engage leaders to impact issues facing Fairfax County and the region.  Established in 1987 with Fairfax Chamber of Commerce – Graduated inaugural class in 1988  Independent nonprofit organization since 1993  Nearly 2000 alumni across all sectors - business, government and nonprofit.  Community Partner (via our SERVEFairfax initiative)

Meets one full day a month, usually the third Thursday, September to June. Meets one full day a month,usually the second Tuesday, September to June. Lifetim ime L Leaders P s Program ( am (LLP) For sea easoned pr profes essionals with a lifetime o of expe perience l looki king f for the e next s step a ep after er retir irement. Helps individuals find ways to contribute to the community and have positive impact in various ways. Meets for six classes over a three-month period.

MEET EET T THE E STAFF And ndy y Sig Sigle, LFI ‘14, Chie ief O Operatin ing O Officer an and Vic ice Presid ident o of E External Af Affairs After spending almost 30 years in the telecommunications industry, Andy entered the next phase of his work-life focusing on our Fairfax County community. Graduating from LFI in 2014, Andy switched gears and embarked on a series of volunteer and part-time employment opportunities in the community including time with Cornerstones, Reston Association, Southgate Community Center Advisory Council, Lake Anne Brew House, Homegrown Power Yoga, Reston Historic Trust and The Reston Chorale. A proud recipient of the 2018 Best of Reston award, Andy is our Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of External Relations.

  22. MEET EET T THE E STAFF Lau auri Sw i Swif ift, L LFI ’ 14, Dir irector o of Admin inistration Lauri joined Leadership Fairfax in 2016 after graduating from LFI in 2014. Coming from the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce, she brings an additional layer of relationships and understanding of the community. Lauri’s role is to support the administration and members of our organization.

  23. MEET EET T THE E STAFF Inno nnocentia A Afa, Programs M Mana nager Innocentia joined Leadership Fairfax in 2019. Her previous role was at the Madeira School where she was an assistant director of Admission. Prior to her time at Madeira, she spent almost nine years at Legacy International, a non-profit based in the central Virginia area. Innocentia oversees Leadership Fairfax’s LFI Signature Program, the Emerging Leaders Institute, and Lifetime Leaders Program.
