Collaborative Work

We have worked side by side as a vertical group, K-1 2, breaking into smaller groups by content area (dance/theatre, music, and visual arts) to discuss content specific information. This ensures continuity from grade level to grade level and consistency and cohesiveness between fine arts areas.

Standards and Best Practice

As a large group, we have researched, examined, and discussed what skills and knowledge are best for the students of Missouri, during their time in school and for their lives beyond the classroom. We have also discussed what fine arts teachers might need as they work to teach students these skills and concepts.
