WHS Peer Mediation Program

✓ Created in 2009 as an alternate source of

conflict resolution for students and directed by students.

✓ About 145 mediations have taken place,

helping over 250 students at WHS.

✓ Purpose: Students learn to resolve disputes

through Open Communication and Compromise, Face to Face (not social media)

✓ Voluntary and Confidential

School Hours 7:26 a.m.–1:57p.m.

Class Periods (56 Minutes) – Morning Break

6 classes meet per day, 7 classes in each student’s schedule

Lunch (25 Minutes) 3 lunch waves
