 Based on the availability, it may not fit with the courses

requested.

 How do you choose an alternate course in case a first choice isn’t

available?

 An alternate selection sheet will be handed out as a last

step in the process.

 Can a parent override teacher recommendations?

 Yes

 If my student took Spanish in middle school, which high school

class should he or she take?

 Begin with level I and middle school teacher will make

final recommendation at the end of the year.

 Can students take classes at the 11/12 building?

 At this time, transition will be limited to facilities

required for the course (i.e. – Band)
