  • DO NOT leave campus to go to

store or donut shop across FM 517.

  • Students may NOT leave

campus once they arrive on campus.

  • Students may NOT return to

campus to catch a bus.

Upon arrival each morning, you may ONLY gather in the following areas:

  • Dining Hall
  • Vintage Gym
  • Seating Area in Gator Mall

– Do NOT block hallways & doors!

  • PASSES REQUIRED to go

anywhere else in the building

– Begins Tuesday, Aug. 30th – NO EXCEPTIONS!

  • Passes must have:

– PROGRAM – STUDENT’S NAME – COACH/DIRECTOR’S NAME

bottles are permitted. (16-20 oz.)

  • Outside drinks will be confiscated

and/or discarded.

Confiscated Items:

Returned to parents on Thursdays between 2 – 4 p.m., & there is a $15 fee for the return of cell phones.

  • EXCESSIVE TARDIES = 5 or more in any
  • ne class period.
  • Excessive tardies may cause you to lose

credit

  • Excessive tardies will result in

assignment to Saturday School

  • SATURDAY SCHOOL begins 9/24/16
  • 8am – 12 noon
  • Fee assessed for credit recovery

DHS Attendance Policy

  • Attendance – IT’S THE LAW
  • 90% Attendance is REQUIRED
  • Failed class due to attendance means no

credit earned for the class EVEN IF YOU PASS!

  • If Absent, submit WRITTEN note to

Attendance within 3 school days:

  • Undocumented absences=TRUANCY
  • TRUANCY = disciplinary action
  • Excessive Absences = Referral to

Modest esty is ALWAYS beautiful!

Walk and TALK on the right side of the hallways. No Running in the hallways No Pass Rule: First/Last 15 minutes! Must have a Yellow Hall Pass to be in hall for any reason during class time.

Closed Campus! No leaving for lunch (truant). Need to go to vehicle? Get a pass from an administrator only! Use quiet voices in the dining hall and hallways. Yelling is unnecessary and inappropriate in a public building.

– Lighted Windows, Open Doors – Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3p – 7p (after Labor Day)

– Check your class syllabi and/or your teachers’ tutorial schedules
