Government (CHS had 96.3% of the students pass Biology and 98% pass Government)
- 80% of CHS students participate in 1 or more AP
courses by the end of 12th grade (CHS had 79%)
- 52% of CHS students who take an AP course
receive a 3 or higher (CHS had 84.8%)
- 94% of CHS students take the SAT/ ACT by the
end of 12th grade (CHS had 87%)

- 558 CHS students took a total of 1,439
exams (10% increase over prior year)

- The AP Scholars program awards distinct levels of
recognition based on academic excellence and performance criteria. A total of 264 CHS students earning an average score of 4.21 received accolades in the following categories:
- AP Scholars: Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or
higher on 3 or more AP exams (CHS had 79 AP Scholars earning an average score of 3.25)

- AP Scholars w ith Honor: Granted to students who receive an
average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams (CHS had 39 AP Scholars w ith Honor earning an average score of 3.83)
- AP Scholars w ith Distinction: Granted to students who receive
an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams (CHS had 146 AP Scholars w ith Distinction earning an average score of 4.37)

- National AP Scholars: Granted to students in the United
States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams (CHS had 48 National AP Scholars earning an average score of 4.67)
- AP International Diplom a: Granted to students who
earn scores of 3 or higher on five or more total AP Exams, based on the following exam criteria: Two AP Exams from two different world language and culture courses or Two AP Exams from one world language and culture course and one English course (CHS had 1 AP International Diplom a earning an average score of 4.30)

- This past year, 95 CHS students received the
Centennia l Schola rs distinction for having participated in at least 6 AP exams in 4 distinct subject areas and scoring at least a 3 or higher on all exams. Way to go Eagles!

- Demonstrates the proportion of CHS’s entire senior
class who scored a 3 or higher on an AP Exam at any point during high school.
- Class of 2014, 53% of CHS seniors met this criteria.
- Class of 2015, 58.6% of CHS seniors met this criteria.

- Increased 7 points from last year
- HCPSS target of 90% for SAT participation (CHS
had 87%); 70% of CHS students scored 1650 or higher… CHS had the only 2 perfect scores in Hoco!
