From Adoptaclassroom.force.com

I have twenty one students in my class and I would like to order a set

  • f scholastic magazine news and headphones . The scholastic

magazines would be incorporated into my social studies lessons which correlate with the state curriculum. These magazines would serve as a form of enrichment. My school functions on a limited budget and can not afford to buy these magazines for the students. The majority of my students can not afford to buy the subscription fee that comes with these magazines. I know that my students would enjoy reading and discussing these weekly magazines. Headphones are a necessary part of implementing the Eureka math program and although we have a set of computers in the classroom for each student to use, each computer must also have a set of headphones so that they can utilize the tutorial program on the computer. The headphones will also serve the purpose of helping students concentrate on their lessons. As a new and first year teacher, I would be so grateful for any type of donation to my classroom. I want to give my students the best learning

  • pportunities so that they can enjoy learning and yearn to be life-long

learners. Goal: $350 Raised $865

OBJECTIVES

  • Definition: a measureable step toward the desired end product
  • Answers the question, how will you know the project has

succeeded?

  • Good objectives:
  • Express the results you hope to achieve through project

activities stated in terms of the need (Example: Improve parent/child relationships by distributing monthly publication to 1,000 families about how to understand and meet their children’s needs)

  • Are specific (but don’t overpromise)
  • Are outcome-oriented (this is not about an activity –
  • bjectives identify the ultimate result while an activity says

how you will get there)

  • Specify what will be achieved and when

  • List each item separately and include source, vendor and price.

If JL Mini-Grant Award does not cover entire cost, please explain how project will be completed or from where additional funds will be contributed

  • What are ALL the equipment, materials, and supplies you will

use for your project? Make a list. The value of ALL of these make up the TOTAL BUDGET for your project.

  • Which of these items will you buy

with grant funds?

  • You can combine all this information

simply and visually on an Excel spreadsheet…
