Last several weeks: Cooler and dryer than average, delayed start snow melt Currently: Warm and very dry snow melt started Forecast until June: Increased likelihood of warmer then normal Precipitation from June onwards will drive actual summer water supply

  • Update Bylaw 422 at Board meeting April 22, 2020
  • Stage 1 in effect as of May 1, 2020
  • Uncertainty about the demand due to COVID-19

Pandemic

  • Increased water use for handwashing

  • Increased occupation by second home owners
  • Less tourist than normal
  • Increased focus on gardening in general
