W hat is TI CC?  Transform ation of I n-patient Care and Culture is a collaborative project of the Northw est Organization of Nurse Executives ( NW ONE) and the W ashington State Hospital Association ( W SHA)  TI CC w as conceived by m em bers of both organizations representing CEOs and CNEs from 9 hospitals across the state

  2. Goals of TI CC?  TI CC assists front line staff to evaluate how direct care delivery can be transform ed in our hospitals to: – Rem ove barriers to best practice – I ncrease the tim e care providers spend in direct care delivery – I m prove the efficiency and reduce the cost of care delivery

TICC as a Vehicle to Transform Your Care Culture  Providing staff with the tools to clearly see the barriers to optimal patient care  Provide staff with the skill to remove barriers and solve problems  Creating competence and confidence  Providing forums for staff to share their knowledge and skill – differentiating the job from the profession  Recognizing and rewarding creativity  Going where you didn’t imagine
