T H E O L D E S T S TA R S I N T H E G A L A X Y ? • 60 fields in the bulge, observing > 5 million stars. • Followed-up 14,000 with intermediate resolution spectroscopy. • Confirmed about 500 stars with [Fe/H]<-2.0. • 50 stars observed in high-res with VLT, Magellan & Gaia-ESO.
T H E O L D E S T S TA R S I N T H E G A L A X Y ? • 10 stars with proper motions from OGLE. • 7/10 contained within the bulge. • No stars observed with high carbon abundances. • Two stars with 50% probability of forming at z > 15.
