LED “Soak Testing” The Denver Elite Wall, as with all Acuity LED products, is put through a “Soak Testing” regime that ensures that early failures are captured . This ensures that our customers receive products that have been put through the stringent LED testing to avoid early on-site failure. Details of the soak testing process are included in the LED Guidelines document.
Characteristics A - LM6 die cast aluminium housing (front and back). Ensures IP65 rating, robustness and Non corrosive material. B1 - LED = Clear glass lens B2 - HID/CFL = Prismatic glass lens C - Three screws allow ease of access during maintenance whilst maintaining luminaire robustness D - External ribs on the back casting ensures heat dissipation away from gear and allow air flow between the luminaire and wall surface for cooling.
Characteristics E - Electronic gear or LED driver mounted directly to the back casting to aid heat dissipation. F - Internal reflector system that works in conjunction with the glass prismatic refractor to direct light and achieve optical performance. G - Optional ULOR shield used with HID and CFL options. Provides <5% upward light Ensuring BREAM compliance (for clarity the image shows a bare casting with no lens).
Characteristics H - LED version features a clear glass lens. Light is controlled by individual lenses on each LED I - 32 LED light engine module behind clear glass lens providing a BREAM compliant circa 3% ULOR. J & K - Each LED has individual lens. Lenses in group ‘J’ push the light sideways providing wide spacing's. Group ‘K’ controls the light going forward of the fitting.
Characteristics L - Photocell option designed into casting ensuring that the product appearance remains uncompromised. M - Half shears located at the top, back, left and right side of back casting ensures a variety of entries into the lumainaire and installation options as standard. N- Half shears (on all entry options) is a new and improved knock out feature which gives the installer the ability to remove them without distorting the casting.
