David K – Somerville, Ma “I just read the rest of the rave reviews and I must say I don't have anything terribly new to add here: Just like the others, our experience with Victoria was absolutely flawless and a real pleasure. In a long and complex road to purchase that has many points of potential failure (or at least missteps) Victoria was an island of stability, confidence and good, sensible guidance. Unlike some others, we are not first time buyers (we were buying an investment property in Somerville) and have had plenty of less-than-stellar experiences with other realtors. So when we were referred to Victoria by a friend whose in-laws had bought their home through her, we had good benchmarks to evaluate Victoria
- against. You know how the test turned out - in two words, she is prety special. In short order, the
traits in her that we really appreciated and benefited hugely from: 1). She is unfailingly prompt and complete in her responses. I can't tell you how rare and helpful this trait alone is. We are all busy, and don't have the patience to wait around. 2). She really seems to "get" you right away. We are not *that* weird, but I imagine everyone's expectations are different. She certainly zoned in in our likes right away - price points, neighborhoods, conditions, etc. 3). Absolutely fantastic referrals for other services - lender, lawyer, inspector, rental realtor, handyman - we got them all from her, and (you guessed it) they were all really excellent and professional. It did not take us long to figure out that the easiest, most efficient path to completing the transaction was go with her referrals, and yeah, we were right. If you are reading up to this, my humble advice is to go with her suggestions. 4). Her team is very organized in reminding you about all the (many) steps to be completed and the time- lines involved. 5). Did I mention she was prompt? 6). She does not push her own preferences on you and is careful to point out pros and cons even for properties that she clearly did not think were great choices :-) 7). She's also just a very pleasant person, without being overbearing or standoffish. Just a great pro who seems to really enjoy what she's doing and is most assuredly very good at it.
