6 Lessons for the collective impact field: Work with partners to co-create a new vision and structure for the collaborative. Position collaborative efforts within national movements to maintain momentum and credibility. Connect the newly emerging agenda to past successes and the current climate. Restructure the collaborative to match the newly refined agenda. Clarify partner and backbone roles to enhance accountability for shared goals. Align backbone role in the new structure with your organizational mission, vision, and strategic future direction.
