  2. May 6 SCP meeting • CASAWG presented a plan of action to incorporate information sharing into the COVEOP, EO41 and related SOPs and plans – The SCP and State Coordinator supported the initiatives – Secretary VAHS tasked CASAWG to initiate implementation.

CASAWG Membership Derived from the Homeland Security Working Group as well as • state-and-local representatives across the Commonwealth. – State Coordinator Representatives – State Interoperability Coordinator – VERT ESF Leads – State Agency Emergency Management Coordinators ECOs) – Local Emergency Managers Subcommittees • – Policy and Procedures – Information Requirements – Outreach and Training Subject matter experts who are not members of the HSWG or • CASAWG may participate on the subcommittee(s), as appropriate. Support Staff •

Policy & Procedures Working Group • Developing process for incorporating information sharing into agency SOPs – Draft SOP template developed – Draft processes being developed • Developing recommended COVEOP language • Private Sector Subcommittee being formed – Government representatives selected from VDH, OVAHS, and VDEM – Draft working group purpose statement developed – Draft Private sector membership criteria developed • Private sector members will be selected after criteria is finalized • Specific objectives will be developed with private sector members

Information Requirements Working Group: • Essential Elements of Information (EEI) gathered from localities • EEI gathered from State ESF lead agencies • Master EEI matrix developed – Next steps to review, edit and prioritize the master list • Developing recommended formats for publishing information • Commence Analysis of Technology Tools

  8. Training & Outreach Working Group • Initial outreach with ALL local EMAs scheduled during Aug – Oct via regional meetings • Additional outreach/trainings to be developed based on best practices learned from current efforts and early implementations
