IFEMA's evolution over its three decades of existence has made it Spain's principal operator and one of the leaders in Europe. This high placing is also due to its work in the area of Conventions and Congresses whose space and infrastructure it runs. In summary, these 30 years have seen more than 80 million visitors, around 550,000 participating companies and 1,500 trade fairs held. IFEMA is present in thirty countries, strategically distributed in the fjve continents, for the purpose of undertaking commercial work and providing international clients with support and advice. It also performs studies on business opportunities in sectors of interest for the exporter and helps companies and professionals to participate in trade fairs.
