HOW CAN WE DO THIS?

  • Homework will be set by subject teachers at a sensible

frequency.

  • This will differ for each subject depending on:
  • The number of curriculum hours per subject.
  • The nature of the subject (project work /

practical work / research etc..).

  • If you have any concerns about homework, please contact

the form tutor in the first instance.

slide-8
SLIDE 8

HOW CAN WE DO THIS?

  • Tudor Grange uses an online system called ‘Show My Homework’.
  • This online system allows teachers to share any homework that

has been set with a specific student or class.

  • Each student can log in and see the homework set, its due date

and ask for reminders to be sent to their phone.

  • Students are expected to regularly log on to this platform to

check outstanding homework and to enable them to meet deadlines.

  • Parents are also encouraged to access this online system to help

support their child in completing their homework.

  • All students and parents have already been given their unique

login, so please talk your child and access the system at your convenience.

THE REWARD SYSTEM

  • Students will be rewarded with stickers where they show

exceptional ability or work ethic in lesson.

  • These stickers are worth points once they are logged on the

‘Mysticker’ website.

  • Praise emails or praise postcards can also be sent by staff to

the parents of a student if they do something particularly impressive.

  • Certificates will be awarded to the students when they achieve

milestones in their total points.

  • Students receive regular reminders of their current total points

(detentions generate negative points incorporated in total).

  • Incentives available to students achieving high total points, for

example a reward trip to Alton Towers.
