Anne Arundel County Watershed Restoration Program Deadline: (Currently Closed) Funding Level: Up to $100,000 Implement large-scale, cost-effective on-the-ground restoration projects that will help the County meet local water quality and runoff reduction improvement goals. Anne Arundel County Forestry and Greening (Full Program) Deadline: March 4, 2016 Funding Level: $5,001 - No cap Implement cost-effective reforestation and greening projects in the County to increase tree canopy and/or implement demonstration-scale buffer projects. Anne Arundel County Comm. Tree Planting (Mini Grant Program) Deadline: Rolling (until funds are depleted) Funding level: Up to $2,500 Please apply 6 weeks prior to start of project. When Building Narrative/Describing Potential Project

 Read all RFP Guidelines and Criteria carefully  Show project in context of larger picture:

WIP, neighborhood efforts, other projects in area?

 Reach out to Trust program staff early for feedback  Keep deadlines in mind and apply early

Especially for rolling programs with set funding amounts

 Keep in mind where project is located

If proposing implementation on a property, have Letters of Support from landowner and other relevant groups/partners

When Completing Online Application  Use INTERNET EXPLORER  Cut and Paste Narrative Outline into Word Doc to provide clear outline for TRC reviewers  Submit early to avoid upload and submittal backups  Record password/user info in a safe place to avoid being locked out  When in doubt, ask for clarification from Trust Staff  Hit SUBMIT at end (double, triple check!)
