➡ AGs officers should be at least: chair, vice-chair,

secretary and treasurer (secretary and treasurer can be merged in just one position)

➡ The committee members can be of any IEEE

membership grade EXCEPT FOR STUDENTS

➡ Committee members are elected every 1-2 years ➡ You can hold the same position for only 4 years

consecutively, and 6 years in total

At least 2 group-interest meetings every year The meetings must be reported at least once a year Meetings contribute to calculating the AG rebate and Activity bonus (if applicable) If an AG fails to do this: –after one year with less than 2 activities the group: automatically placed on probation; will last for 3 consecutive years (no matter what you do) –being under probation suspends your rights to the rebate –AG will be dissolved automatically is situation does not improve.

  • A CEW is an effort to understand and analyze existing

problems in a local community and possibly educate people about its solutions.

  • IEEE Board of Directors:

The Board of Directors proposes revisions to the IEEE Constitution and recommends each IEEE member vote FOR the amendment. If adopted, these modifications improve the members’ voice in governing IEEE and allow future changes to the organizational structure to better respond to the demands of a complex and changing world. (January 2016)
