In 2011, CAA completed 49 accreditation reviews:
- 10 Audiology programs
- 39 Speech-Language Pathology programs
Of those reviews:
- 42 programs were re-accredited for 8 years
- 1 program was awarded initial accreditation
- 3 programs were awarded candidacy
- 1 program was placed on probation
- 1 program was removed from probation
- 1 program was deferred for additional information

The following standards/areas were cited most often in
2011 by the CAA as non-compliant or partially compliant:
- 1.3 – development and implementation of long-term strategic
plan
- 1.7 – current, accurate, and readily available public
information about program and/or institution (aka the “Halling Standard”)
- 2.2 – faculty sufficiency
- 5.1 – formative and summative assessments
- 5.3 – ongoing assessments of program effectiveness and use
