  • Teachers supply their classes with join codes that correspond to their

class and period.

  • Students use the join code to enroll in their class section(s) through

www.myap.collegeboard.org.

  • Once joined, students indicate their AP Exam registration for each AP

class section enrolled.

  • Students then pay for their exam either online (Fall registration) or in

the College & Career Center (Spring registration).

  • Registration occurs 2 times a year:
  • October -- Full-year and Fall semester courses, only
  • February -- Spring semester courses, only
  • AP Exam Fees: $94-$142

  • AP Exams are administered during the first full week in May.
  • Students may take as many AP Exams as they want.
  • Students may not retake an exam within the same year. They can repeat an

exam in a subsequent year. In this case both scores will be reported unless you specify otherwise.

  • AP Exam scores are a weighted combination of the multiple-choice section, the

free-response section, and course performance assessments, if applicable.

  • AP Exam scores are reported on a 5-point scale which offers a recommendation
  • n how qualified you are to receive college credit and placement:
  • 5 = Extremely well qualified (A+, A)
  • 4 = Well qualified (A-, B+)
  • 3 = qualified (B-, C+, C)
  • 2 = possibly qualified
  • 1 = no recommendation
