OVERVIEW

  • The Parliament Prize was instigated in 2016 as a way of

potentially engaging with senior students and teachers across Victoria

  • Forward to 2019, and there have been lessons learned

along the way which we will share with you today

  • Write terms and conditions
  • Create parental consent form
  • Set up a webpage with all the details
  • Define a timeline including launch date, submission opening

and closing dates, and presentation date

  • Design a flyer
  • Launch during Law Week (May)
  • Devise marketing campaign – Springboard, networks, social

media etc

  • Decide on certificate or trophy
  • Presiding Officers and MPs on judging panel
  • Use blind judging
  • Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, plus a prize for the school
