7. Local progress with new organisations

NHS Commissioning Board Area Team – senior directors and other staff appointed or transferred, taking over from PCT Clusters ( NHS Leicestershire County and Rutland and NHS Leicester City are now a single PCT Cluster) Area Team Director: David Sharp. Base Fosse House, Enderby Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group - now authorised (to be a legal entity), has approved commissioning strategy and staff and board members in place. Managing Director: Simon Freeman. Base, St John’s House, East St, Leicester Public Health England – national senior staff appointed and staff in process of appointment to other functions. Regional Director Midland and East of England: Dr Rashmi Shukla. Centre Director for Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire to be appointed/announced.
