THE WATER

 It’s not special holy water but just plain water.  It does not matter how much water is used.  The Greek word“Baptizo” means to wash,

THE WORD OF GOD

It is important that the correct

words are said because the power is in the Word of God.

We use the words Jesus gave

us to use in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19)

“I baptize you in the name of

the Father, and of the Son, and

  • f the Holy Spirit.”

WHAT’S IN A NAME?

The name of the Triune God

sums up everything that He is and all that He has done for us and for our eternal salvation.

The three Creeds are a good

summary of what’s wrapped up in the name of our Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
