The cleansing of the temple.

“Matthew and Luke tell of the cleaning of the temple topically with Jesus’ triumphal entry. But, as Mark shows, it actually occurred on the next day which would be Monday (Mark 11:11-12). The cleansing of the temple was an application of Messianic authority. It took place once at the beginning of Jesus’ public ministry and now, again, at the close of His ministry.”

Breba Standard Fig

The breba should have been there!

  • The Breba always comes first (March and April). It grows

when the tree is putting out its leaves (when it is not the season for figs).

Breba Standard Fig

The breba should have been there!

  • It is edible but often ignored.
  • When it doesn’t grow, the standard figs won’t either!

Breba Standard Fig

The breba should have been there!

  • Since the tree had leaved out, the breba should have

been there.

  • Since it wasn’t, that means this was a fruitless tree!
