Awesome week.” “A tremendous opportunity to become immersed in the vibrancy of the Philadelphia theatre scene with friends and family.” “It felt wonderful to immerse myself in the theater scene for a concentrated amount of time. I felt like I saw a wide range of performances and became closer with the people I attended with , as well as making new friends.” “I recently moved to Philadelphia and it was a great opportunity to be exposed to great theatre happening in the city. I'll definitely be seeing more shows in the near future.” “The diversity of the performances truly illustrate what this country was meant to be.”

  19. Participant Anecdotes “ This city was craving something like Philly Theatre Week for years! Not only can it grow to become a greater initiative for this city, but it also expresses the collaborative passion that can be silenced in today's social climate. The art in this city is too often times exploited, and this was an opportunity to produce and have support free of cost and judgement.” “We had a patron who came down from outside NY to see her daughter at Temple when she heard about Theatre Week. She and her husband traveled back to Philly just for the panel discussion we hosted. She said she had no idea how much great theatre there was here, and that they have discussed moving to the area. ” “ Philly Theatre Week was an amazing way to gain audience members that we would have never had otherwise. ” “We had the joy of performing before a very small crowd of complete strangers one night- and it was one of the most magical evenings I've ever experienced at the theatre. Everyone in the crowd that night had found us through the Philly Theatre Week website. They all came ready to go on a journey, and we were lucky to tell a story for them.”
