2020 LFN Event Strategy: Marketing Events

›

Reduce the LFN event presence at marketing events, major tradeshows, etc. and reinvest that savings into digital marketing and campaigns. Note: recommend against booth presence at MWC 2021

›

Keep the marketing event focus on ONES events (NorAm in spring & Europe in fall)

›

Members and projects are welcome to represent LFN and LFN projects at their events, e.g. “Huawei Connect” with LFN staff support (e.g. tradeshow in a box)

›

Regional, full day “OSN Days” tours with emphasis on local service providers (e.g. DT, Telstra)

›

Continue to support global network of OSN User Groups (meeting 1-4 times a year)

›

Maintain robust calendar of non-paid speaking opportunities at events of all kinds for LFN leadership (Arpit, Heather), as well as member representatives (speakers bureau).

›

Coordinate with LFN TAC to support technical events
