THE CRANS MONTANA FORUM

The Crans Montana Forum is an International Organization whose importance and prestige have been well- established since 1986. It is formally recognized by all the major International Organizations and works closely with them. The philosophy of the Founding Fathers has always been to build a better World: "Committed to a more Humane and Impartial World". The Crans Montana Forum works for the promotion of international cooperation and contributes to global growth while ensuring a high level of stability, equity and security. Our aim is also to encourage best practices and ensure a global dialogue. Each of our Forums organized worldwide (Brussels, Geneva, Rabat, Vienna, Crans- Montana, Bucharest, Dakhla, Baku, Zagreb, Roma, Sarajevo, Tirana, Athens, Malta, Bahrain etc...) represents a unique occasion for Business Leaders and Officials to implement their strategies, strengthen relationships with their partners, meet with potential ones and develop new cooperation opportunities. Thus, the Crans Montana Forum works in close cooperation with institutional partners such as the UN, UNESCO, UNIDO, ISESCO, the European Union, the Council of Europe, OFID, etc. and with major International Groups.

Aware of the key role of Youth in the construction of a more humane and fairer world, the Crans Montana Forum wishes to respond appropriately to the aspirations of these young leaders by creating the Crans Montana Forum of New Leaders for Tomorrow. This is a Community of young decision makers selected for their exceptional professional achievement and experience of Leadership in Business and Governments from Africa, the Arab World, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, South America and the Far East. Together, they form an active Community to address the main challenges of the 21st Century and promote South-South Cooperation. The New Leaders for Tomorrow benefit from the support of our Organisation and a free access to all Forums and High Level Summits organized by the Crans Montana Forum. These New Leaders have the keys for being able to have a direct impact on world affairs and to strengthen human, economic and social relations between their respective regions.

SELECTION OF CMF - NEW LEADERS

Thanks to the cooperation of Governments, Chambers of Commerce, Professional Bodies, International and Regional Organizations, Major Companies and Universities, the Crans Montana Forum of New Leaders for Tomorrow selects the most significant individuals. The Fondation du Forum Universale officially appoints the New Leaders for Tomorrow, who enjoy Forum’s privileges for three years. Younger than 42, candidates must attest to professional success, leadership experience and enjoy a good reputation in the community. Representing a rich variety of profiles, the New Leaders are active within their Community and committed to the social and economic development of their country.

The Senate of New Leaders for Tomorrow ensures a coherent continuation of the CMF - New Leaders for Tomorrow’s Initiative. After their three years of nomination, some Members of the New Leaders’ Community, among the most active, can be nominated as Senator of the Crans Montana Forum of the New Leaders for Tomorrow. This status is the prolongation of a long-term loyalty and confidence relation between the young decision makers & the Crans Montana Forum. Senators play a significant role in the New Leaders’ Programs and represent CMF-Ambassadors of Youth in their respective Regions. They also contribute, through their commitment, to the enrichment and development of Crans Montana Forum’s projects, in particular those dedicated to Youth.
