Matching the environment Not all functions lend themselves well to a hosted environment… What Applications or Services best lend themselves to the cloud from an operational point of view?

Migration How do you get from a working hardware based infrastructure to a hosted one? Are the obstacles primarily technical or are they mainly commercial?

The roadmap What is dominating your transition timetable…. The availability of credible solutions from service and product providers, internal technical resource, commercial realities, or managing risk? Or is it something else altogether?

Commercial Implications There is an obvious attraction with many ‘solutions, “you only pay for what you use” being one. Content life expectancy is another. But….. Not all software is OpEx based does it make sense to invest in new software that does not offer this flexibility?

Longevity Previously with CapEx investments you would expect your new infrastructure to last 3 to 5 years before needing a refresh. Does the ‘cloud’ lend itself to constant technology updates? How does ‘Land and Expand’ work? …. both operationally and technologicall y?
