Graduation Requirements South Carolina State Diploma – 24 Units required 4 English 4 Math 3 Science (one must be Biology with End of Course test) 2 Social Studies (one must be US History) 1 Government/Economics 1 Physical Education or Junior ROTC 1 Computer Science 1 Foreign Language Unit or Career & Technology unit Electives

  7. College Entrance Requirements Additional requirements for admission to 4 year college/university: -2 units of same foreign language (Clemson and College of Charleston require 3) -additional lab science -Fine Arts Unit -ACT/SAT 2 year college/technical college: -college entrance exam

  11. The College Application • All college applications are found online. • Always inform your guidance counselor when you have applied to a college. An official transcript will be sent. • College Visitation-All college excuses must be returned on college letterhead.
