MISSION

No Longer Empty curates bold, site-responsive exhibitions in unconventional locations across New York City. We foreground art as a catalyst for community-led conversations about place, and commission diverse artists at all stages of their careers to expand their practices through site-specific works.

EDUCATION MATRIX MODEL Step 1 Participate in an NLE program - Young Exhibition Makers (Y.EX) or ART ZONE Emphasis on growing knowledge of site specific work, the arts, professional development and job preparedness Step 2 Become a Teen Leader for Y.Ex or ART ZONE, or participation in a different Step 1 program Emphasis on furthering responsibility and personal growth through peer-to-peer leadership skills Step 3 Become a member of the Youth Action Council, an academic-year long peer-to-peer learning opportunity Emphasis on socially engaged art, community engagement, social justice, self-determination, professional development and mentorship Step 4 Paid internship with No Longer Empty for high school juniors, seniors and college students Emphasis on mentorship opportunities, networking, professional development, and job training Step 5 Continuing our relationship Ongoing alumni support through programming, events and individualized
