The Best Day Of My Summer Holiday!

SLIDE 2 I woke up at 4:00 AM Thursday morning. I Went to the airport and got on the plane to Germany to visit my cousins. I was an unaccompanied minor, which means I flew by myself. We stayed in Germany for a few days, and then left in the car to go on a road trip. We ended up in Switzerland! It took us around five to eight hours to get to Switzerland, but it was worth it. We were driving down the motorway, when I had to go to the toilet. We stopped at a café in the middle of nowhere, but around the back of the café was the Alps! There was a pool full of alpine water and a diving board into it. We raced to the car and got our swimming togs out of the boot,and in a blink of an eye, we were ready to jump in.

We all got in straight away, except for my little cousin Fáinne. She walked down the step ladder and stayed in the ankle high water. My cousins Tadgh, Junot and I went straight up to the diving board, and jumped in. We were swimming in the Alps!

Fáinne was too scared to jump in, so my auntie said that if she jumped in, she would give her an ice-cream and €10! I thought that was very unfair because we all did it for no reward. My uncle jumped in, ready to catch her when she jumped in. After she jumped in, we all cheered for her. She told me that she waited until my auntie ofgered to give her €10 before she jumped in. I thought that was very sneaky.

The End!
We stayed there for a while, and my auntie got a cool picture of me jumping in, but every good thing has to come to an end and soon, we were on the road again.
