What’s new with C&B?

  • Update your C&B to align with revised National C&B
  • Eliminate “women” from all governing documents

and replace with appropriate gender-neutral terms

– Examples

  • Replace committee woman with committee member
  • Replace she/her/hers with neutral terms such as they/them/their
  • Or use “member” to avoid confusion and complexity
  • Governing documents should be strong and

accurate and offer an opportunity to enhance civility by creating clear and concise language for all

  • Year end reports are due April 15
  • 100% reporting compliance is the goal!

17

slide-18
SLIDE 18

Accept the Challenge!

  • The National C&B Chair has issued a challenge to

everyone to take pictures of members reading their C&B in front of interesting landmarks.

  • The most interesting photos will be featured on the

“big screen” at National Convention 2020.

  • Will it be yours?
  • Get creative and don’t miss out!
  • Are YOU up to the challenge?
  • Send your pictures in .jpg format
