Why Model School?

• Access to ITCC 3 days a week.
• The cost only 58,000 per school.

The Role of The ITCC

• Support teacher with technology understanding and showing

them how they can better use technology in the class room.

• Often times act as the go between, between teachers and IT

techs.

• Review and help develop lesson plans.
• Sub for teachers or team teach
• Access to ITCC for three days a week shared with another
• district. Or $325 for additional days during the week. “This

does not come back in state aid paid out of school pocket”

• Cost $80,000 for ITCC which the get back in State aid

“White Building” The Role of BOCES Tech

• Offer tech support to all schools in the district.
• Offer internet access through the DANC direct fiber line.

Between all schools (1,100 per month, $20,000 to get started)

• Offer the 506 cost $56,000
• Offer to centralize network and server resources.
