What is BHP role? Sustainability is one way road In the last 15 years we have taken key steps to move to a sustainable operation: • Water: We stopped the water extraction from Monturaqui aquifer and now we are 100% supplied from our desalinization plant. • Power: by 2025 Spence and Escondida will be supplied with 100% of renewable power.
