Major Information - Biology

 Many students do independent study research w faculty,

internships, attend and/or present at conferences.

 Graduates go to:

medical, dental, optometry, podiatry, pharmacy programs, graduate schools for Masters and PhDs, PA Dept. Env. Protection, U.S. Fish & Wildl Service, research labs, medical centers.

 Many freshmen will have classes together, first year

seminar, volunteer opportunities, social activities, clubs.

Some advice from 2018 graduates

 Go to class.  Study and work hard.  Don’t let lots of activities interfere with your class work.  Meet new people.  Participate in class discussions.  Ask for help if you need it.  Don’t be intimidated by professors or your advisor.
