  2. Our Mission & Vision Virginia Garcia is a catalyst for change in health care delivery. The Mission of the Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center is to provide high quality, comprehensive, and culturally appropriate primary health care to the communities of Washington and Yamhill counties with a special emphasis on migrant and seasonal farmworkers and others with barriers to receiving health care . Our vision is simple. We work to ensure that all people in our service area have access to timely, high-quality health services, enabling them to achieve the best possible health outcome.

  3. Who We Serve Our patients are amazing. If we had 100 of them standing in front of you today, here’s what they would look like: 48 would be kids – 18 years old or younger • 98 of those 100 would live in a low-income household • 24 would be uninsured • 63 would be insured by the Oregon Health Plan or • Medicaid Over half would be best served in a language other • than English. 20 would be farmworkers •

  4. Migrant Camp Outreach June – August each summer • • Mobile Medical & Dental Van brings health care to farmworkers at the camps and commercial plant nurseries located in Washington and Yamhill counties. The VGMHC team visited 5 Migrant Camps and 5 Commercial Plant Nurseries. • In partnership with many organizations to bring resources to the families in the housing complexes • In 2019 VG cared for 836 agricultural workers • 215 workers with H-2A Visa. Permits U.S Agricultural employers to bring temporary agricultural workers to US to perform seasonal agricultural work.
