  23. Studying Chemistry - Workload A week in the life of a Chemistry 1 student 4 x 1 hour lecture + 1 x 3 hour lab + 1 x 1 hour tutorial + 4 hours private study = about 12 hours Plus a similar number of hours for maths and one other course
