Application Process
- Mandatory pre-registration informational meetings
○ Some are held early in April and May and then also in September ○ Ensure you meet the requirements
- Get approved for the course by the instructor
- Register in late September
- All deposits must be paid on time
Travel Registration Process
- Jan Term Travel course registration is online via
GaelXpress.
- Students must have a $0 balance from their Fall bill.
- Pay a deposit of 50% of the course fee
○ For your most expensive course
Funding Your Jan Term
- If you need help covering the course fee
○ Apply for the Jan Term scholarship!
- Need based and eligibility requirements
○ Go to Financial Aid Office immediately to apply for additional funds
Post-Registration Requirements: Passports
- Need a passport valid through 6 months after the end
- f travel
- If not, acquire or renew your passport as soon as
possible
Post-Registration Requirements: Visas
- The Jan Term Program or CIP office does not
coordinate acquisition of travel visas.
- Students are expected to independently apply and
acquire a visa
- If you are a non-US citizen, you may need an
additional travel visa.
