Tiis issue had been stretched in the medias, which I thought about to make a conversation out of it.

  5. Chosen topic VIRUS EBOLA Tirough my research I have found It gives an example of a man called a scientist’s newspaper: “Laboratory Mabalo Lokela in West Africa, in the News, Tie Scientists’ Newspaper”/ end of August, 1976, had been taken September 2014 / http://www.lab- ill. Moreover, Dr Seth Berkley of the “As the body count continues to rise – GAVI alliance, an organisation do we have any defence against Ebola promoting vaccination in developing Virus?” nations, mentions about that Ebola is a horrible disease but then there Tiis questions to readers whether we are many other bad ones that kill far can stop it. 6. Microscopic images of animal Tirough my research, I went to Science Building to get some samples from the lab. Tianks to Professor Ibrahim, who permitted me to use the microscope for and human cells both samples of animal cells and human blood cells.

  8. clay modelling I was inspired by Shaun the Sheep but at this stage I didn’t complete it as clay modelling. At this point, it was quite complex. I created Ebola and hammer with plasticine as it was easy to use and it gets never dried for my stop-motion animation. Moreover I tried to model a man but unfortunately it didn’t turned out well, so I decided to use wood fjgure manikins as a start then wrapped with plastic so I can put the clay mod- el of it. I was trying to make Shaun the Sheep model technique

  9. COMIC BOOKS FOR INSPIRATION A feedback from Darren Raven was Tiis idea will approach me for to use a real human, it was a sending the message to people about challenge for me as it is not easy to the awareness of Ebola so that they make a stop-motion with using two can prevent themselves before the difgerent objects, i.e. clay model Ebola virus Ebola enters into their body. and the real human. I thought of using a real man model. By seeing one of my colleague’s comic books, which inspired me of making a conversation between the Ebola and the human by using speech bubbles.

  11. DEVELOPMENT I have created cut-outs of the real Here I created cut-outs of my clay model Ebola. Tiis looks more inter- image of an Ebola and added a esting and also a bit grotty look. I have used this for my stop-motion an- string as I wanted to make Ebola imation. But I have added no strings at the back due to I felt it was quite move easily while doing stop-mo- diffjcult to manage to take still images and move around. tion animation.

  12. AVATAR MODEL & cut-outs Tiis avatar model is taken from I have made cut-outs and changed slightly from the original avatar freepik.com . model. To make it a bit difgerent and have my own character. I did use the same clothes style and colour as it looked quite nice. I just changed a bit of her hair but used the same colour as it looks nice and fjts with her shoes.

  13. facial expression Tiis image is taken from Pixeden. My interest is more focused on the facial expression and I slighly changed the colour of the eyes and lips, and added some blush on cheeks. Each facial expression is set up in order for my stop-motion animation, When Ebola introduces himself then she is confused at fjrst then later as in frames by frames you can see at the fjrst she is thinking and when she thinks about whether ebola is the virus where everyone is talking she fjnds out something. To the next when she says thank you afuer when about. Ebola says yes he kills people and she is shocked by it. She is ebola says she is looking cute. scared and starts to cry before ebola kills her with his axe.

  15. REFLECTION I am very satisfjed and happy with the outcome for my animation piece. Tiis has been quite while extended as I have used my time to make things like cut-outs I would at least say it’s been ages for me to do cut- outs stop-motion animation. Tie more I understand the concept and theory about the frames, the easier it was for me to do this kind of work. I am very satisfjed with my work.

  19. We together collected some ideas of what we each individually want to research about by making a mind-map:

  20. I have created a storyboard of how my animation piece will look like:

In this animation fjlm, you will see the alphabets are moving forward to indicate of people walking and same time the background texture is moving faster, as it shows many difgerent places of Huddersfjeld. My aim is to show designers of how we can perceive objects by looking at it and how we can create them into shapes or forms for typography and also whether they can reckon these patterns in Huddersfjeld.
