Student Poster Presentation Competition Session General Information
Thank you for submitting a poster presentation for the IBE 2012 Annual Conference Poster Size & Design Recommendations: Display boards and hanging supplies will be provided for mounting the posters. Each presenter is allotted a maximum space of 4’ x 4’ (48 inches wide x 48 inches tall) to display their poster. Since the boards accommodate two posters per side it is imperative that the presenters adhere to the size perimeters. Posters exceeding the maximum size will be disqualified from the competition. Please remember that the viewers and judges are from a broad range of disciplines within the biological engineering community. Therefore, it is recommended that posters be designed for a broad technical audience. For your reference, a copy of the judge’s evaluation form is provided below. Please keep your oral presentations brief; do not exceed five minutes (points will be deducted for presentations exceeding the five minute time limit).
