What are the benefits?

  • Students of similar achievement levels challenge each other;

high ability learners have the opportunity to compare themselves to their intellectual peers and form a more accurate perception of their abilities.

  • Other achievers are able to emerge and gain recognition.

Over time, more students are identified as high achievers and fewer as low achievers.

  • Teachers have more time to work with individual students

due to the reduced range of achievement levels in a class.
