• SUMP has been intensively ´on the table´ for last 3-5 years
• Significant interest on SUMP from Czech cities
• Connected to EU funding from Ministry and Trasport and Ministry of

demanding version of SUMP (SUMF focuses only on public transport and cycling, limited level of participation)

– Traffic is not the aim, it is only a tool how to reach higher objectives – Set vision and goals of high quality city – In general – support of public trasport and active mobility (cycling, walking) means safer traffic – SUMP could be a solution if prepared, implemented and monitored responsibly
